FACTS Converter Water Cooling Plant

The function of the water cooling equipment for flexible AC transmission and distribution thyristor valves is to take away the heat brought by power consumption of thyristor's and IGBT's high power devices such as SVC, SVG, TCSC, etc. The flexible AC transmission system uses the lastest power technology and modern control technology, controls parameters and network structures quickly and flexibly, distributes power reasonably, reduces power consumption and power generation costs and can greatly improve system stability and reliability. Pure water cooling has become an emerging industry with rapid development and wide application of power electronics technology. Closed-loop pure water cooling system has solved heat dissipation problems for these FACTS devices while realising compactness and environmental protection and it is the most widely used and most advanced cooling technology in today's world.
