HVDC Converter Water Cooling Plant

HVDC technology is the most advanced and energy efficient power transmission and distribution technology in the world. Converter valve is a bridge of three-phase converters and a component of converter that can achieve mutual conversion between AC and DC. Its safe operation plays a core role in the whole HVDC transmission project. Goaland closed-loop water cooling system, which precisely controls indicators like cooling water temperature, flow, water quality, etc., and has system control, protection and communication functions, can ensure the reliability of converter valve, a core component of HVDC system. Therfore, it is an integral part of HVDC transmission circuits.
